Fabric Master

Fabric Master

The secret to giving any fabric a long life is to keep it clean.  All textiles must be cleaned regularly. If they are not, dirt and perspiration penetrate the fibres weakening the fabric and causing damage and fading.  BUT upholstery fabric, rugs and carpets can’t just be thrown in the wash and hung out to dry.

Features of the best carpet and upholstery cleaners
Easy rinse:  allows you to clean quickly and easily using minimal water, so your furniture and carpet dry quicker, and there is no sticky residue left behind to attract dust and dirt.

Non-fading:  all fabrics will eventually fade, but you want this to happen as slowly as possible. Good upholstery and carpet cleaning products should be designed to cause minimal fading.

No scrubbing, no damage:  by choosing fabric cleaners that have the right kind of chemical action you minimise the damage to your furniture and carpets caused by rubbing or scrubbing to remove stains. If you allow the chemicals to do the work, all you have to do is rinse – no rubbing or scrubbing, so less damage to the fabric.

Fabric Protection
Fabric protection creates a protective barrier, which helps prevent the fabric from absorbing liquids, dirt and grime. Nothing can provide 100% protection, but fabric protection will help prevent stains and make cleaning your furniture easier. BUT not all fabrics need protection.
