Why is it called the Ultimate Product Warranty?
Nothing provides 100% protection, but we are so confident in the quality of our products that we are happy to offer the option of an extended product warranty. The warranty reflects our confidence that our products will help protect your leather furniture from stains. In addition, we have extended the warranty to cover damage to the leather upholstery.
What does the Ultimate Product Warranty cover?
If you take good care of your leather furniture it should last a long time. But accidents happen. Our warranty is designed to give you greater peace of mind by providing you with protection against some of those accidents. The warranty will cover the leather on your furniture, when it is used for its intended purpose, against...
Stains caused by:
- All food and beverages
- Human and pet bodily fluids
- Common household substances including: cosmetics, glue, grease and tar,
soaps and shampoos, ink, wax and nail polish.
Damage caused by:
- Any incidents that occur when you are using your furniture for its intended
purpose. For example: scuffs, scratches, punctures and rips
- Cigarette burns
- Pet scratches.
Please note claims for damage caused by pets are limited to one claim and Multimaster’s liability is limited to repairing a single panel of the furniture. Accumulated cigarette burns or pet scratches and pet scratches where the damage extends through the furniture`s upholstery are not covered under the warranty.
What services do we provide under the warranty?
Stains: if your furniture is stained, first we will provide you with cleaning advice and additional cleaning products. If you cannot remove the stain, we will arrange for professional leather cleaner to remove it for you.
Damage: if your lounge has been damaged we will arrange for a professional leather technician to repair the damaged area.
Replacement: if the stain cannot be removed, or if the damage cannot be repaired, we will replace the affected piece of leather. If a section of your upholstery is replaced, your warranty will still be valid for the remaining warranty period.
We may not be able to provide an exact colour match for your upholstery due to variations in dye lots. If the colour is not reasonably acceptable, we will (at our discretion) recover or replace the affected part, chair or suite.
If we deem a replacement to be necessary, the cost of replacement furniture will be covered by us on a pro rata basis. We will contribute replacement costs as follows:
Up to the 1st year anniversary of the warranty, we will provide 100% of the
replacement cost.
Up to the 2nd year anniversary of the warranty, we will provide 90% of the
replacement cost.
Up to the 3rd year anniversary of the warranty, we will provide 80% of the
replacement cost.
Up to the 4th year anniversary of the warranty, we will provide 65% of the
replacement cost.
Up to the 5th year anniversary of the warranty, we will provide 50% of the
replacement cost.
All services are provided subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty. For more information on these terms and conditions please contact us.
What furniture is the warranty available with?
Leather Warranty: you can purchase a Leather Care Kit and Product Warranty with most leather upholstered furniture, including: lounge chairs, lounge suites, recliners, bedheads, bedframes and dining chairs.
Combined Warranty: you can purchase a combined Leather & Fabric Care Kit and Product Warranty with most furniture that has a combination of leather and fabric upholstery, including: lounge chairs, lounge suites, recliners, bedheads, bedframes and dining chairs.
How many pieces of furniture will the warranty cover?
The kit and warranty are available in three sizes:
Single Warranty: for 1 seat
Double warranty: for 2-4 seats
Multiple warranty: for 5-7 seats
What’s a seat?
To make it easy to include different types of furniture on the same warranty we have developed the “seat” unit of measurement. A “seat” is equivalent to a single lounge seat.
Lounge Seats: a single recliner = 1 seat, a three seater sofa = 3 seats, etc.
Dining Chairs: Four dining chairs are equal to one seat.
Upholstered Beds: An upholstered bedhead is equal to two seats. An upholstered bedframe (bedhead, sides and footboard) is equal to four seats.
So, if you purchased a leather recliner, a two-seat leather sofa, eight leather upholstered dining chairs and a bedhead, then you would work out the total number of seats as follows:
One recliner + a two seater sofa = 3 lounge seats
Eight dining chairs = 2 seats
One bedhead = 2 seats
Total seats = 7 (you would need a Multiple Warranty).
