If you are thinking about purchasing a new mattress and would like five years additional peace of mind, then you might want to consider a Platinum Mattress Protector including the Multimaster 5 year Bedgard product warranty. The Platinum Mattress Protector including the Multimaster 5 Year Bedguard Product Warranty provides you with a mattress protector and a product warranty to safeguard your new mattress.

Protects your health.

Protects your new mattress protector. Our mattress protectors are specially treated to prevent staining. If a stain cannot be removed from your mattress protector Multimaster will replace it with a new one (subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty).

Protects your new mattress. If your mattress protector is used correctly and fails to protect your mattress from staining Multimaster will arrange to have your mattress professionally cleaned. If the stain cannot be removed Multimaster will replace your mattress with a new one (pro rata) of the same or equivalent quality and value (subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty).

Protects the environment. Our mattress protectors are made from environmentally preferred, non-toxic, recyclable and decomposable materials.


Accidents happen, so what is covered?
The warranty will safeguard your valuable mattress investment against accidental water, alcohol and oil based stains caused by:
All accidental food and beverage spills, and  
All accidental human bodily fluid stains including blood, incontinence and bed wetting.


In the event of an accident...

If an accident occurs, promptly scrape and remove any solid spillages and soak up any liquid spillages with a clean cloth or paper towel, then clean the affected area using the approved products as per the directions or call Multimaster as soon as possible for cleaning advice.

You must call us within ten days of the stain or damage occurring. When you call please ensure that you have your original invoice number, receipt and warranty registration number at hand.







 
Your responsibilities

You can only purchase your Multimaster 5 Year Bedguard Product Warranty with a new mattress (the warranty and mattress must be on the same invoice).

You must, use the protector on your new mattress as directed. The protector will help protect the mattress from possible stains and damage.

The Warranty does not eliminate the need for routine airing, vacuuming, cleaning and maintenance of your protector and mattress. You must regularly clean and maintain your protector and mattress to a reasonable standard and keep your mattress out of direct sunlight. Multimaster recommends Textile Master Textile cleaner for general soiling and the Textile Master SOS kit for stubborn stain removal.

You must contact Multimaster within ten days of a stain occurring, and be able to tell us how the stain occurred.


What is not covered?
Multimaster 5 year Bedgard product warranty is not an extended manufacturer’s warranty for your mattress. The warranty does not cover manufacturing faults (in your mattress) of any kind.

The warranty is not a cleaning contract or an insurance policy. The warranty does not cover accumulated stains, dye transfer, removal of odours, fire damage, acts of god or natural disasters.

The Warranty only applies the fabric upholstered cover of your mattress; the warranty does not cover structural damage (including loss of buttons or resilience of interior fillings or damage to stitching, decorative trims or fascias and any other components of the mattress other than the upholstered cover).

The warranty only applies to incidents of accidental staining, the warranty does not cover wear and tear or anything that happens gradually (including damage from accumulated perspiration, hair and body oils or accumulated incidents of damage). The warranty does not cover damage that occurs due to the incorrect use of the protector or failure to comply with manufacturers instructions for the care of the protector, or due to the incorrect use or application of cleaning substances.

The warranty only covers mattresses for domestic use. The warranty does not cover furniture that is used for commercial or rental purposes, furniture in storage, furniture in transit or being relocated.
